Over medium heat, brown the ground turkey. Remove and set aside.
Dice onion and green bell pepper, and add them to the pot. Sautée until soft. Add in the garlic, and stir to combine. Add the turkey back into the pot.
Dump the contents of the canned pinto beans (including the liquid) and the canned crushed tomatoes into the pot.
Add seasonings, and stir to incorporate.
Bring to a simmer, and partially cover for 1 hour. The liquid will cook down.
Serve with toppings of your choice. I suggest shredded cheddar or sour cream and green onion.
